I teach IB Biology only, with most of my students taking HL. My lessons usually start with what went wrong in a past-paper answer, then we work back to the science behind it. I’m especially strong on genetics, cell respiration and IA planning. I’ve also helped retake students rebuild their notes without rewriting the whole course. Students often bring school topic tests, and I use those to spot patterns rather than guessing what needs work.

Hi, I’m the kind of Biology tutor who will happily spend half a lesson on one mark scheme line if that’s what clears things up. I tutor IB Biology only and mostly work with Year 12 and 13 students. My favourite areas are molecular biology and human physiology, and I’m very used to helping students tidy up IAs before submission. I keep lessons fairly conversational, but I’m strict about accurate wording in long-response answers.
